Whistlers Mountain stands at about 8100 feet above sea level. The Jasper SkyTram, built in 1964, can take you up to 7470 feet...you have to hike the rest of the way on foot. On this evening, I didn't quite make it to the summit. In fact, I only made it a few hundred yards along the path. Cold temperatures and thigh deep snow made it impossible to go too far. So, I found a composition consisting of rocks and snow, plus mountain tops and airglow, that worked out nicely.
