The Thomas A. Moulton Barn in Grand Teton National Park is often described as the most photographed barn in America. Typically you'll see it photographed with the camera pointing more northerly to capture the splendor of the Tetons in the background. Those shots are usually done during the time when there is light in the sky. For this photograph, I had to show up around 11:30pm and in order to get the vertical Milky Way, I had to orient the camera more southwesterly. I wasn't really worried about bears while I was shooting but I seemed to be surrounded by packs of coyotes that didn't seem too happy with my presence.
