I have explored a ton of places in Canyonlands National Park but none match this spot for its sweeping vistas and serenity. It is a little bit of a hike to get to this place and it requires some rock scrambling too. And, it is a high pucker-factor location...it is on the jutting point of a cliff with nothing but the valley floor well below. I had to do the hike in three times this day -- first to scout the location, second to shoot sunset, and third to capture the Milky Way. I think the results show that it was well worth it!
