The sky over the Alvord Desert during this sunset is one that photographers dream about. It was cloudy so I thought that some kind of colors would materialize. Little did I know that the sky would start out a beautiful golden hue and rapidly transition to orange and then to the orange/pink that is captured in this photograph. I am very fortunate to have been at this location and to be able to witness the majesty of the moment.
